Outstanding Advisor Award

Chapter members, faculty colleagues, or administrators wishing to nominate an NEHS Advisor for the Outstanding Advisor Award should submit necessary documentation by April 26, 2021. The John L. Manear Outstanding Advisor Award recognizes NEHS Advisors who have given exemplary service leading their chapters for at least three years; particular attention will be given to advisors who have met the challenges of the pandemic with creative ways to maintain NEHS excellence.  

Nominees must have completed a minimum of three consecutive years as Advisor of an active chapter. Nominations must include three letters of recommendation:

  1. from a student member of NEHS,
  2. from a colleague, and
  3. from an administrator.

The winner of the award receives $500 and a plaque.
