March/April Poetry Contest

The final round of the NEHS Writing Contest for 2021-2022 closes on Monday, April 11, 2022. Any member from an active chapter, student or Advisor, may submit original poetry; for this last round, writers may submit original poems based on any topic or theme.

All entries will be uploaded through AwardSpring. Learn more about this year’s submission and eligibility guidelines. The best poems selected during each phase of the contest this year become finalists eligible for monetary awards at the end of the school year.

Please note: NEHS will contact Advisors if applicants submit writing that suggests the need for possible intervention.

Visit the Writing Contest page of NEHS Museletter to read the December/January Poetry Contest winners’ submissions on the themes “Individual vs. Society” or “Prejudice.” Stay tuned for January/February Poetry Contest winners.
