The English Department at Saint Francis University is now accepting submissions from high school students for their new online magazine, New Constellations. New Constellations is an online magazine devoted to celebrating the burgeoning writing talents of high school and young college students with celestial aspirations and vast imaginations forging their own bright, new constellations in the world of stories. We are searching for young writers’ very best prose, poetry, and art. While we aren’t looking for any particular topic, theme, or style, we are interested in the fresh, the profound, and the unpredictable.
Students looking to be published in the inaugural issue can submit their work through June 15, 2021.
Submission categories include:
- flash fiction
- micro fiction
- creative nonfiction
Visual art may also be submitted, including photographs, sketches, and paintings. There are no submission fees or reading fees. Editors simply wish to see your very best work.
Visit the Submissions page on the New Constellations website to learn more about the submission categories and guidelines. Complete the submission form located at the bottom of the page to submit your work. Please contact the magazine editors at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and to learn more about the submission requirements and editorial review process.
