NEHS and the ELA Honor Society (our program for students in grades 6-9) can be found in booth 314 in the main exhibit hall throughout the convention. Sparking Connections through the National English Honor Society

A wide-ranging discussion of the profound connections high school students and teachers can make with their campus and wider communities through the National English Honor Society. Chapter Advisor presenters will discuss their experiences supporting student-led literacy-focused projects with impacts that go far beyond the classroom.
Elevating ELA in Grades 6-9

An informal discussion focusing on the innovative methods teachers can use to increase grade 6-9 student interest and participation in the English Language Arts through innovative activities that take place within, and beyond, the classroom.
