Plagiarism and the English Classroom

Recently, a few NEHS Advisors have sent notes of frustration as they have once again been confronted with issues of plagiarism in their schools. It is always disappointing when students make decisions, often based on the many pressures in modern school culture, to pass plagiarized work off as their own. One troublesome site we have been encountering recently is Essay Writing Software.

We are interested in hearing from Chapter Advisors who have found effective ways to combat this issue. The Chapter Annual Report/Survey will also invite Advisors to share ideas that will be used as a basis of further conversation.
