The NEHS Advisory Council is interested in speaking with any current Chapter Advisors, or their friends or colleagues, who work in high schools implementing standards-based evaluations rather than traditional number or letter grading systems.
Recently, NEHS has seen a surge of interest from schools implementing non-traditional evaluations processes and we would like to make our student eligibility criteria meet the needs of students at those schools while maintaining the high standards necessary for student admission to our Society.
The NEHS Advisory Council would like to convene a focus group made up of teachers and administrators working in schools of this type in January 2024. If you would be willing to participate in a short focus group, or you know someone who may be, please contact Chris Lockwood, NEHS Director.
